Outside Interests Module

Cayuse “Outside Interests” will replace the Infoready “Conflict of Interest” module. This module will be used by faculty, staff and students who are Key Investigators on Sponsored Projects and/or Investigators conducting research with human subjects who need to disclosure a significant financial conflict of interest related to the IRB study.

Key Investigators are defined as PI, Co-PI, Co-I, Investigator, Fellow and Mentor.

When Do I need to Complete an Outside Interest Disclosure?

An Outside Interest Disclosure should be completed for each project. A Research-based Disclosure form is required for each proposal submission in Cayuse Sponsored Projects or protocol in Cayuse Human Ethics.

OI Disclosure Management

Cayuse allows for full oversight and storage of the disclosure forms and management plans for all employees. The research-based disclosure forms will be completed in Cayuse by employees, and housed within the system.

  • How do I Access the COI Module in Cayuse?

    You can access Cayuse Outside Interests via your Cayuse profile at this link: https://wpunj.app.cayuse.com/admin-web/profile/profile

     

    To get to your profile, click on your name at the right hand corner of the Sponsored Projects homepage.

    Next, select "My Profile" from the dropdown options

    Once in your profile, at the bottom of the left-hand tab, select COI Disclosures, and then select Research-based Disclosure.

    You can sign into the system at https://www.citiprogram.org and verify your information. Please enter the date that you completed AND passed the training in the COI system to complete the Research-based Disclosure.
