William Paterson University is pleased to announce its celebration of 50 years of Black Studies on campus. This program is unique in its focus and origins and is the only academic program in university history that was developed due to student demand. Over the past 50 years, the Africana Studies program has worked to serve the campus community providing students with a comprehensive education on the experiences and contributions of people of African descent. Join us as we celebrate and honor our past and look to our collective future.
