Tribute Bands The Discoteks and 80’s Revolution Present ‘70s Vs. ‘80s: A Musical Battle on March 1


Which musical decade is your favorite, the ‘70s or the ‘80s? On Friday, March 1, decide which decade wins as New Jersey-based tribute bands The Discoteks and ‘80s Revolution present ‘70s Vs. ‘80s: A Musical Battle at William Paterson University in Wayne. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

 

Prefer the disco of the ‘70s? The Discoteks are a crowd favorite power tribute band performing all the hits of the ‘70s disco and Motown era. The band members have over 35 years of experience in performing with various groups. The Discoteks have traveled the East Coast but also perform all over the country.

 

Fan of the ‘80s? 80's Revolution covers all the best music from of the decade—Madonna, Journey, Michael Jackson, Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, the Go-Go’s, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Cher, and so many more—with all the details, from neon to leg warmers, leather jackets to teased hair.

 

Tickets are $45, Gold Circle; $40 for orchestra/front loge, and $35, rear loge. There is a 10 percent discount for William Paterson faculty, staff, students, and alumni, as well as senior citizens. All tickets are an additional $5 on the day of the show.
